How do we achieve the Social Value future as authors?
- Insist on making some version of anything you write free to the
world--either with publisher, or in simple HTML on your own
- Encourage your institutions to support its publication arms
- Voice the value of (and assign use of) peer-reviewed online content
- Propose cost-sharing of online preparation costs with your
publisher (via university, institutional, or individual donation)
- Request free online publication in lieu of royalty
- Be willing to undertake some online-text-preparation tasks for
your publisher (Word style sheets, HTML quality control, etc.)
